Sunday AM found Harvey and I together for some of our own private time. We walked and talked on the beach, and found a lone turtle basking on the beach.

Sunday afternoon brought a great surprise…Harvey and Deb took me to their Pickleball court! Luckily they have 3 paddles with them so I got my first lesson. I am a Pickleball virgin no more! As if on cue, Bella appeared out of nowhere and took over instructing me! It felt like H&D had arranged her arrival, but they had not. It was fun to get a taste of the sport and to now have a better understanding of why it’s so popular.

We were a little sweaty after playing so we took some time by the pool and read.
This complex is so accommodating as they set up chairs right outside of their timeshare for sunset. But we moved ours a little higher to be on “the grassy knoll”.

On Monday, Harvey treated me to 18 holes of golf at The Wailea Blue Golf Course. What fun it was playing scramble with him and being paired up with Chris, a nice young man from Canada. He reminded me so much of my nephew, Eric. Harvey and I shot an 82 which is MOSTLY due to Harvey’s excellent play and my forward tees allowing us a GREAT advantage. But I must share that I made par on a par 3 all on my own! I believe I had some help from Dennis on that one.

We celebrated the fun but windy round with a beer or two back at the clubhouse with Deb.
As with the other evenings, we brought food home and relished the sunset from our own place.

Sounds like this was a much needed vacation that enabled your to reconnect, recharge and relax! Glad you made this journey. Love Land P
