Tour the Beautiful Grounds

The Hippocrates Health Institute offers 55 acres of beautiful grounds that have been developed over the last 37 years at the new facility in West Palm Beach, FL.  The original Hippocrates Health Institute was founded in 1956 and located in Boston, MA by Ann Wigmore.

We’re blessed to live in the Punta house which was recently remodeled.  In the house there are 4 good size bedrooms and each has its own lovely bathroom.  Our room (Punta #5) has a super comfortable king bed, multiple pillows, puffy bedding, a/c and multiple fans… we sleep like babies!  We have 2 separate doors into our room… 1 door opens onto a huge deck.

There are 4 levels of accommodations on the campus.  We chose LEVEL 2 (2nd down from the top level) because we wanted our own bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom.

We can’t believe the gorgeous weather during our 1st week.  Lots of sun and blue sky, some clouds and brief thunderstorms, high temp 85 – 90 F and humidity only 70 – 80 %.  The local Floridians have commented we’re lucky to have this great weather in August!

You certainly need a map to navigate the 55 acre campus… multiple buildings for housing,  lectures, treatments, fitness and spa.  There are several hot tubs, infrared saunas and pools.

VERY handy to have signs… otherwise it’s easy to get lost!

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing Sunday morning at the fitness center.  Here’s Diana swimming in the 90 degree fresh water pool.

Here I am enjoying the 104 degree hot tub with flowing water to calm the spirit!

A large Yurt in which various types of Yoga, Qigong, Meditation and Thi Chi are offered.

Diana loves this Open Air exercise area rather than use the fitness machines inside.

YES… Sunday 8/26 (the full moon) starts our Week #2 at the Life Transformation Program.  We survived our Week #1 initial “detox”.  We’re excited for what is ahead during the next 2 weeks!

THANK YOU for following our blog.  Diana and I EACH wrote a blog post on Sunday because it may be a few days before we have time to do another post.  THANK YOU for all of your love, support, positive thoughts, healing energy and prayers!

All the light,
Dennis

    1. It was beautiful last night. We had a short rainstorm and we sat in a screened in porch and just soaked in the negative icons. Then it cleared up and the moon was radiant in a clear sky. Just like HOME!

    1. Wow, Kathy … SO NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU! The food here would be so good for you; do you think you would like it? I’m very grateful that we have always been big salad eaters and I already have been growing sprouts and cat grass. But this puts our existing experience on STEROIDS! I’m getting excited with how we can change our Arizona Room into a grow zone. Need to do more research, but I think it might be perfect for it. Love to you and Lilly!

The grounds are beautiful! I’m so glad you are both feeling fine. I was wondering about that.Sometimes detox-es can get a bit hairy. It’s so much more fun when they are pleasant. LOVE the hot tub with the flowing water! …and there are other ways to “sweat it out” without a sauna. Good Old-Fashioned healing protocol. You live in the perfect climate for that!
    Love & Light!

Thank you for your positive comments! The detox has been no problem… quite a pleasant change! I found a tasty replacement for organic, decaf coffee. My NEW favorite herbal tea… organic, caffeine free and acid free is Teeccino Dandelion Dark Toast. It contain organic carob, organic chicory, organic dandelion root and organic ramon seeds. http://www.teeccino.com

YES… it is a peaceful campus. After 3 weeks we’ll enjoy our return home to little, quiet Sahuarita. I’ll look forward to receiving a facial treatment from your healing energy!
