All things die and transform

It is with a very happy heart that we say our farewell to the fellow guests and staff of Hippocrates Health Institute, and begin winging our way back to Tucson.

We were invited to bring a meal from HHI with us to the West Palm Beach Airport, and we enjoyed it in a remote section of the terminal.

We just arrived in Atlanta and now get to enjoy three lovely hours in the Food Court, smelling all that cooked food. Thankfully, it does not smell good to either one of us. However, I KNOW this is the first time in 30 years that we have been in an airport without having a cocktail! We are being given another gift instead …. right next to us is a woman playing her heart out on a Baby Grand Piano! She ain’t Jamie, our concert pianist housemate at HHI, but it’s lovely all the same.

This being our first attempt at eating out, we have perused all of the places here in the Food Court and absolutely nothing looks appealing.  But thankfully my favorite fast food place is here and we will enjoy a lovely chopped salad from SUBWAY!

Our “graduation” from the 3-week Life Transformation Program was yesterday (Friday) afternoon. It was so special that both Brian and Anna Marie, the 2 Directors, were in attendance, and actually were AT The Institute all 3 weeks of our stay (they travel and lecture extensively). It was a surprise that each graduate was called to the stage individually, by Brian himself, to receive our diploma and say a few words. Spontaneously, I began my comments with “My name is Diana and I am a sugar addict!” It felt so good to just blurt it out! Through all of the ceremony there were lots of smiles, hugs, and even a few tears.

We then proceeded to our last meal, which we enjoyed outside by the lake. We were gifted with the most intense rainbow which lasted ALL through our meal, even outlasting me, Mrs Slow Eater!

To us, it was a sign that our choice to go to HHI was right for us.  I felt like I was on the OTHER SIDE of the rainbow.

We began our last morning (today) with a lovely meditation class led by our favorite Yoga Instructor, Fernanda.

Time to rededicate myself to my meditation practice again.

We were extremely blessed to be granted two private meetings with Brian and a neurosurgeon who discussed with us Dennis’ diagnosis and path forward. Look for a post from Dennis about that.

For me, I was touched and transformed during these three weeks. Physically, my total cholesterol dropped 30 points, my sugar level decreased, I stopped my blood pressure med and my level is optimal, my fingernails are crazy long, and I dropped my weight into the 130’s. Mentally, I feel calm, happy, and at peace.  And spiritually, I am beginning to unpeel all of the layers of protection I have put around me.  It will be a continuing process.

My deepest Thanks and Love for your support and for going on this journey with us.  Now it is time to enjoy the FUN of creating this transformed life in our OWN Paradise.

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.

Wow, what a journey you two have had the past few weeks! Thanks for making all of us a part of it and sharing your amazing experience. Leslie and I are both happy to hear that it was everything you had hoped for, and sounds like so much more! Western medicine needs to open their eyes and understand that we don’t need there there man made drugs and old school practices. Here’s to a “Healthy” life of exercise and nutritional foods!

Safe travels and MUCH LOVE from Montana!

So…Welcome Home! Diana, you are just glowing!!! I have really enjoyed everything you shared during this journey. (Dennis…didn’t I say I thought you guys had much to teach within this experience…?) I’m so proud of you both for taking the wheel of your own ship. I know you are willing to do the work. (Oh…”mocktails”…they’re a beautiful thing! We had the installer run a line from the water purifier under the sink, to the ice maker,= clear ,pretty, ice. We have some big and round ice cube trays for fun. I love S. Pellegrino with a lime, or Perrier with a lemon twist,- from glass bottles- while I’m doing my quarterly cleanse…oversize wine glass of course!! :0} ) I’m anxious to see how you farm your wheatgrass!
    HUGS!!!!
