Too Much Fun on Day One!

What a joy to land in San Francisco on Wednesday, April 24th, to SUNSHINE and to my dearest friend, Marty. He was so sweet to even park his car and meet me inside SFO.

We went DIRECTLY to the beach and The Cliff House for lunch. FABULOUS is the only word!

Oh … to eat seafood right NEXT to the water is HEAVEN!

We took a long walk on the beach afterwards …

I am SO GRATEFUL for the weather and my friend!

We worked our way back to Marty’s house through Golden Gate Park. What a color and contrast explosion for this desert girl!

I brought my digital camera and not a laptop so it will be a treat to see those pics when I get home. But just imagine paradise and that is Golden Gate Park.

Back at Marty’s we got settled and headed out to his lush garden with a bottle of wine. One of his neighbors, Richard, was relaxing in the sun. Nice guy! We spent the balance of the day chatting, laughing, and having wonderful discussions about life.

BTW …. all of that purple was not planned. Maybe it is just what happens when two people have been friends since they were 18 years old!

We were moving a little slowly on Thursday AM, but the CONTINUED sun got us up and heading towards Corte Madera to my brother’s house. So grateful that short drive brought us the MAGIC of the bridge!

I feel so blessed that I was born close to this bridge 65 years ago.

💜💜💜
