… my birthday will be OVER.  Wow … even I am getting weary of celebrating!

When I returned home Friday night (May 3rd), 3 of my Showgirlz sisters were at my house.  I sent them on their way to The American Legion and I went to work.  By 9PM I was completely unpacked and the back patio was uncovered and cleaned, the house was freshened up, and I was ready for company.  Two of those friends came back and we proceeded to stay up until midnight getting caught up with each other.  It was so wonderful to see them and to be outside in the calm, dry air.

We had our last show of the Broadway in Tucson season on Saturday and saw CATS.  Of course the best part of our season tickets is the lunch we have BEFORE the show  and our group picture.  I am so grateful for my loving and fun Showgirlz sisters.  As you can tell, WE DO HAVE FUN!

And as if all of that wasn’t enough, they spent the night (we missed you Anabel!).  Trust me, a good time was had by all.

Sunday was one of those left foot, right foot days and I was definitely feeling 65.  And missing Dennis on the 7 month anniversary of his transition.

But I was perked up today with my LAST AND FINAL birthday gift to myself … my Sunset Swing was delivered and installed today!

When Dennis and I were in Florida at Hippocrates Health Institute, I practically LIVED in this swing when I had free time.  When I saw it at The Home Show, I just couldn’t resist.  My backyard is now COMPLETE and waiting for you to come and enjoy with me.

But the best part?  As the installer was leaving, I literally gasped when I saw my “Dennis Hibiscus” blooming for the FIRST TIME TODAY.

Yes, Dennis, I know.  ALL IS WELL.
