I know …. it’s crazy! I just left Sausalito and surrounds 5 weeks ago today! And wouldn’t you think it would be appropriate for my city family and friends to come to MY house now? Well, apparantly not because here I sit on a United flight again!

Except I must be doing SOMETHING right, especially since I did the responsible thing today and took the 1pm flight instead of the AM flight so I wouldn’t bag on my yoga students. I guess that’s why God gifted me with a FREE First Class upgrade! Speaking of, wheres my glass of wine?

Anyway, I have a VERY GOOD REASON to be winging west to SFO again. Actually 47 reasons.

On June 8, 1972, I remember the EXACT MOMENT I met Marty Lee Osborne on the South Rim of The Grand Canyon. And he remembers me in that same moment. Remarkable! And to imagine we were both fresh out of High School at only 18 years old. He came from Deming, New Mexico and I was from Lake Oswego (Portland) Oregon. Two polar opposites.

Over the last 47 years our lives have not paralleled by any means, and we’ve had our share of arguments, disappointments and hurts. But despite our unique journeys and our roller coaster ride of individual lives, we’ve still managed to stay connected. Oh the stories we could tell! And I couldn’t be more grateful or love him more.

So yes, I may be a bad Kitty Mom leaving Mr Muggins again. But if Dennis’ early transition taught me anything it is to be brave, take a risk, and DO IT NOW.
