Don’t believe everything you hear …

With a happy heart I am winging my way away from Charleston and towards home this morning.  Of course I’m bummed I cut my trip short by a day, but relieved to get out of the drama.

Late nights, great food (SEAFOOD!) and drink (endless champagne!), lively conversation, sightseeing, and even 2 private boating experiences including dolphins and a downpour …. I feel full and blessed! But THE BEST PART … Kristen (Lynda and Pete’s daughter) and her wife, Holli, surprised both Lynda and me by flying down to join the party. Talk about a bomb shell!

In fact, when they left on Monday, it felt like the air had been let out of the Birthday Balloon. Glad the hurricane allowed them to get back to Rockford safely.

I’ll share pics when I get them all edited. You already know that my home is my personal paradise and I’ll be grateful to safely arrive and be with Mr Muggins and my southwest tribe again. I’m sending this from Dallas; just one more leg to go.

Because as much as I love to travel …. THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.

We’re back at the Copenhagen airport waiting to fly out to Dublin this afternoon. What a fabulous, exciting, beautiful journey we have had. Much more later. So happy you escaped the storm and also had an over-the-moon trip!LoveSent via Cindy Rabbitt’s smartphone.
