For not only these two lovely people, but I also love Canada for dropping its vaccine requirement!  Because, when my nephew, Kevin Cekanor, first announced his wedding date, I would have been unable to cross the border! I am so grateful that Joe and I are on our way to join the Makes family to celebrate this special event and, of course, to meet Danielle.

We left Tucson on Tuesday, a  wonderfully cool morning.  It was only 69⁰ when we woke up!  Quite a change from our record-breaking heat of the last 45 days. 

AND, what a blessing to have a NOON flight on Alaska Airlines, which ended up leaving 30 minutes late.  Joe and I enjoyed a relaxing morning filled with all of our favorite routines…. the ONLY way to travel. 

We even arrived at the airport early enough to have the traditional Bloody Mary!

We’re hooking up with Lynda & Pete, and Holli & Kristen, in Seattle, for an overnight at a Hilton, before driving up to Vancouver, BC on Wednesday.  That is when the festivities will begin for THE WEDDING OF THE YEAR on Thursday evening. 

Holli and Kristen were the last to arrive in Seattle.  By the time they arrived, and they picked up our van, it was too late to connect with them.  But we have 4 days ahead of us!

We met for breakfast at 8am, and by 9:40 we were on the road in our blue PACIFICA!

Look out Kevin and Danielle …. HERE WE COME!
