It took a while, but we finally made it back to Seattle on Saturday.
We left our AirBnB at 9am, made a Starbucks and gas pitstop, and then we hit the border line.

It took us 90 minutes to work through this, but then WOO HOO! Back in the good ‘ole USA!
Kevin and Danielle are working their way to Seattle, too, as they fly to Bali tonight!

It was our intention to go to Pike Place Market this afternoon, but the delay at the border messed with our plans. So we chose instead to go to Kirkland and have dinner at Anthony’s.

We hooked up with my niece, Jewelz, and she gave us an introductory tour of the waterfront in Kirkland.

We took the opportunity of being together to spread some of Dennis’ ashes. He so loved water and boats.

We had to get the rental car back to the airport, so the gang left, and Joe and I stayed for a while longer to visit with Jewelz.

We had to get back to the hotel and try to get some sleep. Joe’s birthday trip to Victoria starts tomorrow.

Wishing you and Joe the best of times on Victoria Island. One of my favorite places on earth!
Love the picture of you and Jewelz!
