Tuesday, Time for WHALES!

Our plans today changed as our Five Star Whale Watching Tour changed from 3pm to 10am due to pending bad weather in the afternoon. I’m glad it changed because, as a boater, I do know that water is typically calmer in the morning hours.

The day started perfectly with a room service Bed Picnic …. my favorite!

We cruised off shore for about 30 minutes. It was a little chilly, so we were grateful we could also be inside the boat.

And then it happened …. two humpbacks!

This happened a few times, but it’s hard to capture
We were both very excited!
Once a boater, ALWAYS a boater!

All that fresh air made us HUNGRY, so we stopped at our favorite lunch spot and enjoyed another Bed Picnic!

We got our shoes back on and headed out again.

And yes, we loved ourselves some Canadian beer, too

We got back to the harbor as evening was settling in. The Empress looked beautiful.

And we were done …. it was a big day.
