Wednesday, our last day in Victoria

After a yummy al fresco breakfast next door to our hotel, we checked out, stored our luggage, and walked next door to visit the BC Parliament Building.

Beautiful rotunda
Where it all happens

As if we hadn’t walked enough this trip, we walked back into Chinatown to explore Fan Tan Alley; the narrowest commercial street in North America.

Now I need to see the movie Bird On a Wire. I understand they shot a motorcycle scene here and had to shorten the handlebars so it would fit!
We wandered by this Irish Pub and enjoyed some “special” coffee. It tasted great on this overcast but not raining afternoon.

And then, onto our last Victoria experience…. Afternoon Tea at The Empress. This was a first for both of us

Joe is such a good sport.
The food was TOO MUCH and DELISH. Pinkie out!
Check this experience off our Bucket List

We rode The Clipper back to Seattle, and as I had asked for …. we saw 2 humpbacks off in the distance! Spotting wildlife is always fun, even if it’s not super close.

We spent one more night at a Hilton by the Seattle Airport. We are both ready for our journey back to Arizona on Thursday.
