Cruising …. What day is this???

Seriously, I am very confused.  The days and time just blend  together.  If I REALLY stop and think, then I can figure it out.  Kinda …

The first full day (Monday) was simply an exercise in figuring out what deck everything is on.  I DO know we are in cabin 14864, starboard aft.  14 is the deck, 8 stands for “ate”, and 64 is 10 ten years after we were born.  Without that reference, I’d be lost.

LOVE LOVE LOVE having a balcony.

Monday and Tuesday were spent at sea.  Naps both afternoons were heaven, especially after Fitness Fun classes on the pool deck each morning along with lots of walking, eating, drinking, and gambling.  Oh, and a line dancing class which was a total blast!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner together Monday night at Cagney’s Steak House.

My body is working overtime to adjust to this lifestyle
Tried to win some $$$ on Tuesday afternoon.  “tried”

Wednesday found us docked in Puerto Vallarta.  It is always such a stunner, after seeing only water for 2 days, to open our curtain to this …

I am not showing you Sam’s Club and Costco to the left

After breakfast with Eric and Amber, we set out for the cathedral and malecon. It’s quite overcast today but still comfortably warm.

First stop …
Very special ESPECIALLY on Ash Wednesday.  Joe honored his Catholic roots.  These days the Priest uses a stamp instead of their thumb.  COVID?
We stopped for a meal at Andolay’s
When in Mexico ….

We did get a little wet on our way back to the ship.  But we took it all in stride and made it back with hastily purchased matching tshirts for Joe and me.

We left port at 7pm and Joe and I cushed into our room pretty quickly.  After our big day out, staying in for a bed picnic seemed appropriate.

The pizza AND tuna sandwich were yummy!

So grateful to get a good night’s sleep.  I scored my first FitBit 80 of the trip!
