Picture perfect weather. I did bring too many cold weather clothes because I thought it would be cold here. But the good thing about getting older is I no longer worry about changing outfits every day.
After breakfast, we took a short drive to a small handcraft market and canyon overlooks. The scenery is so overwhelming that, like other nature trips, it’s impossible to capture it all.









We had free time in the afternoon, so we took some time to just chill. It’s been a lot of go-go since we began on early Wednesday, so it felt good to just stop and absorb all we’ve done.
We took a stroll in the afternoon and found the perfect spot to spread some of Dennis’ ashes …



It’s been another beautiful day. Tomorrow, we have a 6-hour ride on the Chepe Train to El Fuente in the state of Sinaloa.
