Getting to the Oceania Sirena was a challenge because we couldn’t find the right terminal. We SAW the ship but couldn’t quite get to it. Our taxi driver was patient and determined.
Check in was fast because the ship is small (only 670 passengers) and we were greeted on the ship with a glass of champagne. We all ate SALAD for lunch (so much meat was consumed in Barcelona!) and we were in our cabin by 1:30.

I was not destined for a late night on Tuesday as I had not slept well since the beginning of our trip, and was falling asleep at dinner. I had no choice but to go to bed. I slept 8 hours that night while the rest of the group partied on. I felt much better by Wednesday AM …. finally!
We woke on Wednesday morning to our first port of the cruise, Palamos, Spain.

Our excursion today was on the Trolley Train to three medieval villages.

At the end of our excursion, Ivonne and I chose to explore the Palamos harbor and start her birthday celebration.

We enjoyed a quick siesta before dressing for the Tuscan Steak House for Ivonne’s birthday dinner.

We topped it off with a great floor show in the theater and MASSIVE dancing!
Wishing you many more healthy and adventurous birthdays, my good friend.

Happy birthday to Ivonne! Big love to all of you!
