I’m not afraid of getting older

Because truly what good would it do to be afraid? None of us can stop our aging from happening.  Might as well EMBRACE IT.  And this birthday? Holy moly, did I embrace it. And I feel so grateful and blessed to have such dear, sweet friends.

I loved my day yesterday, May 2nd, spending quality time with Chris Barsness. Our “let’s meet for breakfast” plan turned into 5 hours of non-stop spiritual discussion. I am so grateful for his wisdom and unique perspective on life and death.

Last night was the final birthday celebration with Steve (my big bro), Denice, and Marty. We walked just down the street from my place to a Mexican restaurant where the margaritas were plentiful and delicious. Rest assured that a good time was had by all!

I’m so happy that I made the choice to come to the Bay area for my birthday. I wouldn’t change any part of my trip. And I know Dennis was with me the entire time, evidenced by arriving at my AirBnB at 5:55 PM last Friday, and then leaving the house today, Friday, at 11:11 AM. Thank you, Dennis, for making yourself known.

And now I’m safely back in my own personal paradise in Sahuarita.  And back to my local friends who I love so much.  Let’s all continue to honor Dennis, and also his mom, who are watching over us.  I can hear them both say CARPE MOMENTO and continue enjoying the life we all still have.

Because “I’m not afraid of getting older. I’m one less day from dying young. I see the Light go past my shoulder. I’m one less day from dying young”.

    The photos are wonderful (ESPECIALLY the one of you and Marry)!!! You celebrated your 65th in STYLE and with some of the ones that LOVE you (there are SOOOOO many of us that DO love you dearly and were with you in spirit).
