How I LOVE to be on the water.  I get quite nostalgic thinking about our boating years on the Sacramento River and the myriad of cruises I’ve enjoyed.

So this morning made me quite content ….

See the face?
One of the deck hands caught three skipjack tunas.  I could be completely wrong on the type of fish  …
I liked going up the spiral staircase to one of the lounge chairs on the top deck

We went to a pearl farm, and this young man explained the process of how they grew and protected the oysters.  But I must admit, he spoke so fast that I missed half of what he said.  Then we went to the showroom and WOW.  The prices were crazy.

Carrie Cardan, I am so grateful for our black pearl rings from Tahiti

I thought we were taking the boat back to the Marina, but sadly we took the coach back.  We got “home” at noon and had all afternoon on our own.  Can you guess what Joe and I did?

We had a big platter of nachos, too
OK …  I’m ready to be home

I took a nice nap in our very cool and dark room after just 2 margaritas.  THOSE were the best ones of the trip!

And tonight, we were serenaded again before dinner …

I now have a new appreciation for Mexican music
This was delicious…. red snapper.

The brownie and ice cream dessert was just over the top so we split it.

We took a walk around the Marina after dinner just to walk off the food.  And I’m so glad we did to see this …

Happy Full Moon in Aries

I’ve downloaded a couple of movies to watch during our LONG journey home tomorrow.
